New Day job/Maryland real estate license questions
Hello BP,
I am in the process of starting a new "day job" as a life insurance sales agent. This was probably not the best thing to say on my part however, I advised the hiring manager that I am in process of obtaining my Maryland real estate license. (I am in process of starting/growing my own real estate investing business). My goal is to work fulltime as a life insurance sales agent and work parttime as a real estate investor. The hiring manager offered me the job but stated I would have to scrap my real estate license. I do not think he correct. I should be able to hold a MD real estate license and be a life insurance sales agent.
I hear a lot about real estate investors having a day job and investing part time. I am writing to BP community to get you opinion on this? Is the hiring manager correct?
