I stay in the Akron,Ohio area. I know a lot with construction and basement waterproofing. I've been reading multiple forums on BP for about 6 months now and listening to the Podcast. I want to invest into real estate with rentals flips and whole sales and anything I can get my hands on. I'm ready to take the plunge!! I'm tired of working for the man ripping people off by charging ridiculous amounts to waterproof a basement! I have the potential to be my own boss with my dedication and knowledge I can do anything because I fight for it. What are some tips you lovely people can give me?

Hello and welcome to BP!  Start a new business that is a corporation to protect you personally.  Get as much education before you start investing and minimizing your mistakes.  The paperwork is always important.  Find/Get professional people that are local and experienced at working with people like you.  Do not try to do everything yourself.  Just focus mainly on income productive things.  Learn that most of the time you will hear "no" before you will hear "yes".  Just keep on going and someday you will be successful.  Good luck!
