Hi Bigger Pockets Community,

I am a new investor looking to buy my first place.  I am 4 years out of college with my feet finally secure in my career.  I work downtown NYC in the Financial District and I am leaning towards buying a multifamily home in North Jersey.  I would like to live in one unit and rent the others.  I have enjoyed living in both Jersey City and Newark(Ironbound) over the last few years and would like to network with anyone who invests in these cities or their surrounding areas.  Please drop buy and say hello! @Brandon Silva welcome to BP! There are many investor in Newark and Jersey City at the moment. Those are quite hot areas. I would go to a local New Jersey RIEA some time this month. They are all over on meetup.com or here. You are guaranteed to meet some bigger investors at these events. It is always good to pick an experienced guys brain.
