New Chesapeake, Virginia Investor
Hello, my name is Andrew Leedom and I am a newbie investor in the Hampton Roads area of Virginia looking to make my first investment. I am a full time Structural Engineer with a wife and two children and looking into buy and hold single family properties in the Virginia Beach and Chesapeake areas. I have been reading a ton of books and articles this past year and trying to soak up as much as I can. I have analyzed several properties and made a few offers, but haven't closed on anything yet. I am excited to be a part of the bigger pockets community and hopefully get involved in some of the local groups to meet other investors and people passionate about real estate in the area.

Hi Andrew and welcome to bigger pockets! I am a Realtor for Keller Williams in the Greenbrier section of Chesapeake. I specialize in working with new and experienced investors. I have actually helped a few new investors from Bigger Pockets successfully flip anywhere from the first to multiple properties. I also have a Project Management company that is very helpful for new investors. It walks them through the process. A lot of new investors are also working full time jobs and can be overwhelmed overseeing the day to day operations to make sure their project is on schedule and budget. I take the stress out by finding the property, running the numbers, estimating the rehab costs, and preparing the house for Listing. I hold a Class A Contractors license, and grew up in the construction industry so I know what I'm looking at when I walk on a job site.
