Hello everyone. REI is something that I've wanted to get involved with for quite some time, but I've always envisioned it as something out of my reach. Accordingly, I've held myself back from actually doing something for far too long.

However, I've decided this is the year all of that will change. This looks like quite the community, and I'm looking forward to connecting with people here, and learning from those of you who have already been down the road. I'm currently in the Lower Hudson Valley, not far out from New York City. Things are certainly expensive around this area, so I'm certainly going to be looking further upstate and west of here. 

I'm very interested in rental properties, as well as rehabbing and flipping. I'll do my best to contribute here, and I'll certainly share my experiences as things happen.
