My Newbie mantra: Learn, grow, and invest

Hi Everyone,

I just wanted to say hello and a big thanks to all of you for the informative/insightful topic which are written on this form.  I would also like to give a gigantic thumbs up to everyone at BiggerPockets, your pod cast are addictive.  I listen to the episodes on Stitcher.

I'm working on expanding my Real Estate investment knowledge.  I originally got my license because my husband and I were going to partner up with a friend (with capital) who wanted to flip house.  Once I got my license, and things got real, that friend of ours dropped out of site. Ha ha ha.  That's how things go sometimes at least we know now instead of in the middle of a project.  We just came up with a new plan and kept moving forward with our decision to invest in Real Estate.

I'm learning, growing, and I want to get to the investing by September of this year.  If you know of any investors in Georgia willing to teach a Newbie Realtor, please send them my way.

Because I am so new to the Real Estate world, I do still have a full time job as a Financial Consultant (17 years strong) . . .  please don't try to do the math, I do realize I just aged myself.  I like working with numbers, but I love working with numbers when it makes me feel like I am learning, improving, work toward my personal income goals, and helping people.   Eventually, I will fully transition into Real Estate full-time, with mouths to feed jumping all-in immediately would not be a smart decision for me.

Well, enough about me.  I look forward to networking with you all soon post.
