New from Toledo, Ohio and ready to quit my job!

Hello BP, I am 34 married with children. My husband and I own our home we live in and are looking to get into investing and flipping houses with little to zero down. We both work in the auto industry (chrysler) and are ready to be our own boss. I have always been a fan of the real estate business and love watching HGTV lol. We will be taking classes at our local college next month to obtain a real estate license, that will hopefully be a start as well as teaching us the ins and outs. We will be attending a seminar on Flipping Toledo on the 4th of March hosted by the guys that has the TV show "Flipping Boston". 

I really enjoy this site for I have been reading, reading, and more reading along with watching all the webeniers. I must say I have learned a few things from you guys already so keep up the awesome work thanks again.

I would recommend joining Toledo REIA. There are Many members there to support you. They meet on the 2nd Tues of each month at the Knights of Columbus on Secor Rd at 7:00 Opens at 6:30. Go early for your 1st meeting. 1st meeting is free.

I would also not sign up for any classes from TV etc. As I and many members at REIA will attest are way too expensive and I didn't get the information that I was expecting from their classes. It was way more promising than fulfilling in results.

You can get better info from the membership at the Toledo meeting. Their are wholesalers there and flippers buy and holders etc that can guide you in any aspect of RE investing. Also they have a nice library on the many aspects of investing and running your business.
