I am a newbie and could use advice on navigating my way around

my name is David Latil I live in Chattanooga,TN and was wondering if anybody knew of a good real estate person in the area I could ask advice. I really want to change my life and I am ready to learn.I am fixing to attend Than Merrill 3 day seminar in a couple weeks. I am gung-ho about this.

Locate and attend 3 different local REIA club meetings great place to meet people gather resources and info. Here you will meet wholesalers who provide deals and rehabbers (cash buyers). Find them through Google and meetup.com

Consider checking out HUD homes for small multi's owner occupied gets first crack.

You might consider Niche or Specialized Housing like student housing. Rents can be 2-4 times more. Remember you don't have to own a property to control it.
