New Member from Seattle looking at Tacoma???

I'm a husband and father of 2 in the Seattle area. I'm currently looking to purchase my first property and I'm being squeezed out of Seattle with the rising housing costs. We are considering many options including relocating to Tacoma and even looking at a Multi-Family dwelling unit with a FHA loan. We are brand new to this all and are looking for all options available to us.

I'm not a real estate expert, but I have lived in Tacoma for my adult life.
