Hello, my name is Christine. I'm new to BP and just starting to explore real-estate investment. I live in Sebastopol, CA--that's about an hour north of San Francisco. A great place to live, but property values are sky high.

I own a craftsman bungalow in Seattle that I'm renting out. Rent covers the mortgage and then some, but I'm trying to pay down a HELoC on the place so I'm not actually making any profit right now. I became an accidental landlord when I had to move to CA for family reasons. So far, my experience had been mostly positive, and I'm ready to consider buying other properties to rent. I'm also strongly considering getting a real-estate license.

I found BP while browsing for info on getting into real-estate investment, and it seems like a great community and a great place to learn! I'm looking forward to this journey. It feels a little scary, but I'm pretty excited as well.

Thanks for reading!
