New investor from Houston, TX

Hey my name is Jordan I recently moved from Utah to Houston, Texas and I am currently enrolled in college working towards a bachelors degree in business.  I came across the entrepreneur & CEO Grant Cardone a few months back on YouTube who inspired me to take control early in my life of how I could become a successful person.  I have listened to many videos of Grant Cardone, Tony Robbins, & Gary Vaynerchuck who stress the importance of real estate investing.  Other than reading multiple books and listening to many hours of videos on the importance I have not yet invested in real estate.  I finally came across Brandon Turner on YouTube and have listened to many of his tips which led me here to BiggerPockets.com.  I look forward to learning as much as I can in general about how to begin investing with my main interests centered in rental properties & Buy and Hold properties.  Thank you for all the advice and tips!
