Full-time job, and getting started!

Currently I'm a teacher and looking for a mentor in Colorado Springs to support me in making the transition to full-time investing this Spring/Summer. I really want to do fix and flips,  and eventually hold, but hear Wholesaling is the way to begin, and it would help prove that this is a viable career change.

My goals after finding a mentor is to start flipping/ wholesaling houses. The next step for me would to get into buy and hold strategies to start generating passive income.

If you are local and have any insight that would support my success (business structure, networking), it would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,

John Willingham

Hi John welcome to BP. Im new to BP as well and there is so much info on here. I would search "wholesale colorado springs" and "flip colorado" and read everything; every forum and blog post. That's what I'm doing for my market and it's really helped me get a feel. I've already chatted on the phone with an incredible member from BP and gained so much. Good luck with your goals and enjoy!
