I live in Collin County, TX. I am semi-retired and looking to supplement my retirement income with Real Estate and build a business that I can leave with my daughter and Grand Kids! I am a rookie in Real estate and I have never done a deal. I have the desire and passion to learn from the best!

Wow, Linval, are you on the BP payroll? LOL :)

Getting started, I strongly suggest you begin by learning the basics of real  estate before jumping into podcasts, getting advice in public forums or reading blogs by just anyone.

If you're going to begin by reading a blog, try "How to develop a good BS Meter!"

By the "Basics" I'm talking about the information Realtors must learn to obtain a license, not a basics for investors that jumps right in talking about generalities of niche operations.

I guess Linval didn't care for it, but I suggest you start there to understand what the road ahead looks like! Good luck :)
