Hi everyone. Total newbie here. I want to get into real estate investing and have been reading as much as I can about it to educate myself. I would love any help I can get! I am interested in diving in full time to this. I know that most of you are very experienced and may not want to bother with a newbie such as myself but I am hoping to learn as much as I can from you guys and perhaps connect with someone who could take me under their wing and help guide me through my first venture into this new world. My goal is to be able to become financially independent within 3 years through real estate investing. Is that a realistic goal? Unrealistic? Feel free to let me know if I'm setting an unrealistic goal for myself! Thank you all so much in advance.

Welcome to BP @Donna D.. Do the research, listen to the podcasts (I find them more helpful and I learn more from them than anything else.), write a business plan when you decide what aspect of real estate investing you want to focus on. It doesn't have to be in depth and detailed. It's just for yourself and to keep you on your path. Take the time to go to your local REI clubs and then dive in.
