Hey guys, I'm being charged $750 to build a corporation.. (I think it's a little high but might be worth it) any thoughts/advises on that?

Marcelo,

It all depends on the sophistication of the corporation, but In my opinion, if it's just you, you can do it yourself for a lot less @ https://efile.sunbiz.org/onlmenu.html .

However, if you have no time or inclination of reading up a little on the subject, a CPA can do it for you ( I think for a lot less), or an attorney ( might be more expensive).

Either one can or should get it done in a matter of minutes, but it's important to select the right corporate structure though.

If not sure or not confident, I would pay a professional. It could cost you a lot more than $750 if not done right. Whether it's $350 or $750, not bad for some peace of mind. The cost of doing business- A learning experience.

Full disclosure: I'm not giving any legal or tax advise nor am I a licensed attorney or CPA.

Happy New Year!

All the best,
