New member from Connecticut
Hi my name is Jaime, I'm a newbie to real estate investing, but not really to real estate itself. I currently have a real estate license in the state of Connecticut. I was a full-time Realtor in the early 2000's for about 6yrs. I decided to keep my license, but now I'm considered a referral agent.
For the last few years I have been working as an IT contractor (basically a tech-for-hire), mainly working in retail and corporate environments.
Over the last year or so I have been yearning to get back into real estate, but this time I want to be the investor and not the agent. I have been doing a lot of research for wholesaling and I think that is the avenue I want to use to get back in the game.
I'm ready to link up with people with similar interests and I really would like to find a local mentor, if possible, to work with.
