Aspiring buy and hold investor in Portland, OR

Hey All!

I'm currently working as an active Real Estate agent in Residential sales. Real Estate has always been something that has intrigued me, so many things to know, so many things to love and it presents endless possibilities.

I'm exactly the type of person that could easily suffer from analysis paralysis. I've been talking about and planning to start REI for a few years, I'm still young and have time. I feel like we're coming to a very safe and comfortable point to take the leap. However, we are also in the midst of a downright real estate frenzy. With record lows of inventory and true madness ensuing all around me to compete for properties, where is a newbie to start??

@April VandeBergh  offer to partner with investors by throwing in your commission on a deal if you can afford it.. helps investor with leverage.. you get in the game..

Also look at some of the out lying areas.. Hood River is awesome and across the river in White Salmon... Silverton .... Dallas,  Monmouth ,,, Amity

I just built 10 homes in Carlton there are starter rentals there

Just throwing out some ideas
