After 10 years owning my own printing business I decided to start real estate investing in 2015. My goal is to make real estate investing a long term vehicle to financial freedom, but where were going we don't need roads!

Welcome to BiggerPockets, @Thomas Glasbrenner. Where you're going, you may not need roads, but you will need a map...

Long term vehicle to financial freedom sounds a lot like buy and hold. Boy, have we got some maps for you!

Check out this "map" to Buying Rental Property. Once you've followed that map, here's one on How to Rent Your House. Follow that up with the "map" for Tenant Screening - one of the most important steps in the whole "using real estate to build wealth" plan.

As you know, sometimes you get lost. Here is a map to help you navigate your way through eviction. I hope you never need it.
