I'm  John, I have recently turned 20 years old. Looking for advice about about multi family homes in the northern Jersey area. Personal goal is to acquire enough property to attain 1k on a monthly basis in profits in the next year or so. Zero experience in this field so any advice is much appreciated, thank you in advance.

Welcome to Biggerpockets John! I recommend watching one of the many webinars Brandon Turner has on multifamily investment rentals. I learned a lot from those. Also there is Ben Leybovich' book on "13 Steps to Valuing Your First Multiplex." on Kindle.
