Hi all,

I'm new to the BP community and new to the RE world.  It's been an interest of mine for quite some time and am excited to start digging in.  I've been reading a lot of great stuff here on BP and really educating myself, but there's a lot more to learn.  Keep me honest and make sure I stay active on here!

I'm in the DFW area (north Dallas actually) and hope to eventually learn enough about REI to overcome my fears and eventually make a solid investment. The market in Dallas is ridiculous and it makes me think that there's no hope for me, but I know with enough due diligence that won't be the case. I'd like to learn about all the many ways one can invest and earn returns in RE, with specific interest in flipping and buying & holding apartment complexes and/or multi-family.

I look forward to jumping into other conversations and being active on the forums.
