Hello from Bo in Orlando!
Hi everyone!! My name is Bo Park and I am a 21 year old newbie to the real estate world.. I actually just started researching/reading/listening to podcasts less than a month ago. It's a lot to take in but I am genuinely excited about becoming a part of this industry and networking with you all!
I currently live in Orlando, FL and that is the area I'm planning on starting out in. I also spend a lot of time in Daytona Beach, Fl so that is also another option. One of my current goals is to acquire at LEAST one rental unit by July 2016. *Do you guys think this is a reasonable goal?
My other major goal is to finish and launch my Ecommerce before this fall semester (I'm currently a senior majoring in Finance at UCF.)
Another major part of my life is my dance life. I'm a street dancer (popping) and very active in the hiphop community. (I'm actually at my friend's house in Canada right now writing this post cause we just got back from a dance competition.) I know, that's completely random but just a fun-fact for you all haha. I actually think my dance can help me in real-estate because it makes me use the creative side of my brain, which I could definitely use when thinking about creative financing.
Thanks for reading my first post! (sorry if it was too long)
Can't wait to learn more and chat with all you amazing people!

Welcome Bo to B.P.
Think of your investing path , as another form of dancing.
Lots of fun, occasionally some pain. At first it all seems to hard. Which style of dance suits best. Which style are You naturally attracted to. The need for patience and disciple. Plus persistence. Then focus. Then all of a sudden it flows. Then the magic begins.
Bigger Pockets is a great resource and support center. There are many here with experience and wisdom. The only dumb question is the one you do not ask. And in investing ask lots of questions. By the way it is better to learn from the pain of others, than Your own pain. So in reading , or listening to the podcasts, often when people share their painful experiences. They do so in the hope of others not having to go through their pain.
Enjoy Your journey to becoming a successful investor.
