6 hours of podcasts down, 119 to go.
New to the forum. Figured I would listen to all podcasts, read as many posts as possible, as well as reading books personally day in and day out before I hop on here and ask a ton of questions that have already been answered somewhere.
A bit about myself, I'm originally from Whittier, California (planning to go back in the next few years) currently residing in Omaha, Nebraska... What a change, right? 20 years young, nearly finished with my welding degree, and currently a welder for Lozier Corporation. A lot of people on here talk about working backwards, that's what I've kind of had in mind for a long time. Welding is my plan B, I became skilled at it early on and got convinced by my family to do it in college. I saw it as, getting my plan B secured while I learn as much about plan A (Real Estate) as humanly possible while I save. I've always been interested in houses, architecture, seeing a transformation, and the potential for massive success Real Estate can offer. I understand wealth is built over time and by no means expect to be rich tomorrow. I am just starting and educating myself as early on as possible because the best times to invest are today, and yesterday. I would just like to keep learning as much as possible and network with people in the area in efforts to find a mentor who sees my potential, motivation, and relentless persistence. Thank you all for the read, seems like an awesome place for like minded individuals, and some "get rich quick" dreamers I see who will fall out on their own when they see it takes more than 2 weeks to do something. I'm a very friendly, outgoing, people person, and bilingual (reading, writing, and speaking) so feel free to shoot me a message or anything really. all advice is appreciated and I'll continue to listen and read up everyday
