Getting Started in Louisville, KY

Hello All!

I'm a 24 year old financial wholesaler for a private company in Louisville KY. I'm closing on my first home in a couple of weeks and I am definitely interested in further investing down the road. I discovered the podcast a week ago and I'm really starting to get excited about real estate. The idea of financial freedom is obviously extremely appealing, so my plan is to be a sponge for new information and try to do the right things early in life to attain that goal. Thanks and I look forward to connecting!

Skyler, I'm a newbie as well. One thing that has helped me as I try to move forward is to set concrete goals. Ask yourself, "What specific, measurable things do I want to accomplish? By when?" Share those goals and talk about real estate with others. You never know who has a house they need to get out of that would be a great first deal for you. Also, there is a local Real Estate Investors (REI) chapter that meets monthly in the area. That's another great place to start.
