@Brandon Turner - I appreciate the welcome, I'm looking forward to being a part of the community

@Sean Williams - Thanks, it's encouraging to hear that other young guys are having success in this market. It seems like this site is a great place to get started

@Jason James - I definitely want to close on this first deal first but I think that's good advice. I do have a full time job so that is a big factor but ideally I will find some time on the side to find ways to get real world experience.

@James Wise - Thanks! Frankly I'm still learning about all of the different types of investing, but as I have full time job outside of the industry, I'm primarily looking at buy and hold opportunities for single-family homes as well as small multi-family opportunities

@Mark Nolan - I appreciate the advice!

@Kelly Bankes - That's fantastic advice and I appreciate it. As of right now I'm trying to learn as much as possible to set some context for myself that will allow attainable goal setting. Do you have any more detail on the local chapter like a link to the website? Thanks!

Hello All!

I'm a 24 year old financial wholesaler for a private company in Louisville KY. I'm closing on my first home in a couple of weeks and I am definitely interested in further investing down the road. I discovered the podcast a week ago and I'm really starting to get excited about real estate. The idea of financial freedom is obviously extremely appealing, so my plan is to be a sponge for new information and try to do the right things early in life to attain that goal. Thanks and I look forward to connecting!
