I'm am brand new to the real estate investment field. I wish that like many of you I was still in my 20's, but those days are long gone. My husband and I are in our early 50's and now that the kids are moved out we're ready to start investing in real estate.

In the next few months we'll be looking at assembling our team and searching for our first property. We're not afraid of a little work as we have done some major renovations to our current home.

One of my kids lives in Myrtle Beach and says I should buy something there...but I think that may be down the road a bit once we have our feet wet.
