My name is Dave Sanders and I heard about BP from a friend of mine during a CashFlow 101 networking session.  I found the site, listened to a few podcasts, and I'm hooked.

Other than buying and selling my primary residence, I'm a completely newbie, who never thought that he'd be interested in real estate.  Now I'm very much interested in it from the passive income generation side, but I'm on a one year plan to learn more before I jump in.

I'm basically reading every book recommended to me, continuing to catch up on every episode of BP podcast, and read as much as I can on these forums.  Once I have a firm grasp on the subject, and I have some investment funding put back, I'm eager to start the ball rolling in whatever type of real estate investing makes the most sense for me at that time.

Until then, its just learn, learn, learn, and proceed with caution!

Welcome.

Locate and attend 3 different local REIA club meetings great place to meet people gather resources and info. Here you will meet wholesalers who provide deals and rehabbers (cash buyers).

Two Great reads, I bought both J. Scott The Book on Flipping Houses, The Book on Estimating ReHab Costs http://www.biggerpockets.com/flippingbook

Download BP’s newest book here some good due diligence in Chapter 10. Real Estate Rewind Starting over
