Thanks for all the warm welcomes!

Paul, thanks for the great advice. I already know a couple guys locally who attend the REIA meetings (Jared above is one of them) and plan on attending for sure. Thank you for the additional resources. My summer is going to be spent with my nose in the books for sure!

My name is Dave Sanders and I heard about BP from a friend of mine during a CashFlow 101 networking session.  I found the site, listened to a few podcasts, and I'm hooked.

Other than buying and selling my primary residence, I'm a completely newbie, who never thought that he'd be interested in real estate.  Now I'm very much interested in it from the passive income generation side, but I'm on a one year plan to learn more before I jump in.

I'm basically reading every book recommended to me, continuing to catch up on every episode of BP podcast, and read as much as I can on these forums.  Once I have a firm grasp on the subject, and I have some investment funding put back, I'm eager to start the ball rolling in whatever type of real estate investing makes the most sense for me at that time.

Until then, its just learn, learn, learn, and proceed with caution!
