Brand new to real estate investing

Hello to everyone at bigger pockets I'm excited to be part of the community! My name is Matt Crain, I'm 35 years old with absolutely no real estate experience whatsoever. I want to build a solid foundation of education before diving into any deals, so I've joined bigger pockets and am reading some good books to start and listening to the podcasts. I also bought a real estate terms dictionary, so I'm learning the terminology. I work 2 jobs at the moment so any spare time is spent learning about real estate investing. I live on Long Island but am going to be moving to Sarasota Florida within the next 2 years, am thinking of investing down there. Thanks in advance
