Hi everyone!, My name is Matt and I live on Long Island. I've been thinking of investing in tax liens and notes. Is there anyone who has experience with those types of investment vehicles? maybe some good book recommendations or advice? thanks in advance!!

Im just practicing using the calculators right now, I'm not actually doing any investing yet just practicing running #'s. I've noticed that a lot of the ads I see for foreclosures and short sales are limited in comparison to a home that is in excellent condition, seems like those properties have tons of info like floor type, wiring, etc. Do they leave out information purposely? I've found tax info to be limited and also insurance info.

Hi everyone greetings! My name is Matt I'm a complete newbie, I decided to learn how to tackle property analysis first and foremost, I feel like that is something that is critical to know. However I'm trying to use the calculators and a lot of the info it asks for I cannot find on the ads ( I'm using Zillow and Realtor.com sites ) Is this something I need to contact the agent or owner about? And if so how do I know I'm getting accurate information? Also are there other things I should learn before this? Is property analysis a good starting point? Thanks everyone in advance!

Hello BP community, I have been reading and studying the material here on bigger pockets, the material is awesome, I am learning a lot, and there is tons of information. I would probably bet that you can never stop learning about this massive subject, however i would like some good old fashioned books to flip through to supplement my education. Any suggestions would be great! Thanks in advance guys
