Newbie from Central CA
Hello!
I'm Jared from Manteca California. I am 20 starting a career in agriculture and excited to be apart of the BP community!
I'm new to real estate, I've been listening to podcasts and reading the forums. I want to jump in!
I'm looking to buy and hold single families or multiples. Here in my area it's been hard to find cashflowing properties!
I want to network and meet like minded people. Shoot me back any suggestions or just say hi!
Thanks,
Jared

Hi Jared!
I managed a 26 unit apt building in Santa Clara, CA, and am now retired. If I can be helpful regarding renting units from a manger's perspective, I'm glad to help.
Manteca shouldn't be too bad, but I grew to love grad students. If I could invest (now disabled and renting in subsidized housing in Crescent City, CA), I'd buy in Chico or Arcata by the university. In both areas, you can find tri-plexes for around $315 - $350K. They should cash-flow. And students will always need housing, regardless of the economy.
Best wishes.
