I am a new investor here in Austin TX. I have loved the info on the bigger pockets podcasts and look forward to connecting with other investors. Please let me know your favorite places to meet other REI folks.

I saw Bryan Hancock mention Harold McGee's Big Daddy's Meetup at 183/Burnet on Thursdays for lunch. 

I'm looking to make my first real estate investment this year. Seeking vacation rental property here in Austin, near downtown and have means to close quickly.
