How to get over the hump with no finances?

Hello Everyone! My name is Emily Gerry, I am a young accountant from the Morris County area of New Jersey. Recently, I have been interested in Real Estate because a house came up for sale in my neighborhood and I wanted it. After talking with Mortgage brokers, etc. I was given a reality check into the ins and outs of Mortgage financing and how costly it is. Being a skeptic I know there have to be ways to break into this market for those with not much to offer initially. I like the idea of investing my money into tangible assets so real estate is a good avenue for myself. Right now I am in the process of networking, learning the market in my area, and exploring the different options in real estate.
