How to get over the hump with no finances?

Hello Everyone! My name is Emily Gerry, I am a young accountant from the Morris County area of New Jersey. Recently, I have been interested in Real Estate because a house came up for sale in my neighborhood and I wanted it. After talking with Mortgage brokers, etc. I was given a reality check into the ins and outs of Mortgage financing and how costly it is. Being a skeptic I know there have to be ways to break into this market for those with not much to offer initially. I like the idea of investing my money into tangible assets so real estate is a good avenue for myself. Right now I am in the process of networking, learning the market in my area, and exploring the different options in real estate.

Check out FHA and 203k loans, HUD properties, and things of that nature. There are a number of ways to get into a property with relatively little money of your own, but not typically with no personal money at all. The FHA and 203k loans also require you to occupy the property. Do some looking around here on BP, network, and you should find some really good information. Good luck!
