Hi Everyone, 

My name is Edward/Eddie Gaeta and I'm new and jumping into property investing head first. I have read countless books in the wealth building, investing, and general self help and it's to the point where I need to experience it to really learn. 

I am from Boston and am an Engineer by trade. I am also a Crossfit Instructor everyday after work and train every morning. I'm very dedicated to my health goals and to my success. Some of those goals are to own 5 rental properties and wholesale 5 within the next year to create a passive income to go bigger and farther with this part of my life. 

I found this through searching for investing podcasts on itunes and have been on since.

Hi Eddie, welcome to BP.

This is a great place to learn. Make sure to listen to all the BP podcasts, read the articles on the main blog and be active in these forums to learn a ton very quickly about any topic in real estate you want to know more about.

This is also a great place to meet people that can be assets to your business. Lots of great connections all over but we also have a very strong and active contingent here in MA on here so make sure to find them (Set up some keyword alerts to find out about local topics) and get connected.

Besides doing that on here make sure to get out to some of the many local investor events we have.  Sounds like you already know about the Boston AREIA in Medford.  I'd also highly recommend going to the Black Diamond meeting in Waltham (2nd meeting in Worcester), just missed that one on Tuesday but go next month.  Many other options both North and South of the city depending on what your preference is, or you can hit stuff both ways.
