22 Years Old and Looking to Invest in the next 15 months
Hello,
My name is Olivia. I am 22 years old and have been working in property management for 3 years now and I am proud to say that I have caught the Real Estate Bug!
My goal is to purchase my first investment property in the next year to a year and a half. I will buy a duplex and live on one side. Any helpful tips and advice are greatly appreciated. Right now, I am in the process of saving for the down payment. I believe that 20% is the best decision for me. I am aware of the headache that Property Investing can be, but this is truly my passion. I eat, sleep, and breath Real Estate.
Any information on how to better prepare myself would be fantastic. Over the next few months I will be hitting the books hard to familiarize myself with the mathematics until it is my second language.
Also, If anyone has any questions about Leases, Fair Housing, etc. I am willing to lend a hand!
Thank you!

Welcome to the site. Dream big! 18 months? You can do it faster. I'm only 21. Read up on here about Direct mail. Pull a list and mail duplexes in your area. Buy one under value or on owner finance. I can't imagine having this Real Estate bug and having to "suppress it" for that long!
