Aloha from the 10th Island - New Member Introduction

Aloha BPers,

My name is Cliff, and I retired from the U.S. Army Signal Corps officer (CIO-equivalent).  Born in the Philippines Island, grew up in Hawaii, and now living in the San Antonio, TX area which I claimed as the 10th Island - since it's very expensive to live in Hawaii where $719,000 is median home, I decided to bring the Hawaii culture here in SATX where $175K is the median home price.

I became an accident landlord when a townhouse I cosigned when I was only 25-years old was about to foreclose on by American Savings Bank in Hawaii.  When others gave up I was very persistence in getting it back.  Fast-forward today, I now owned three rental properties in addition to my primary home in the Stone Oak community of San Antonio, TX.

I was planning on liquidating all properties, and relax somewhere abroad at age 41; however, I am very passionate in real estate that I drive for $$$ around downtown San Antonio, TX to check it out.  I am a member of the San Antonio, Real Estate Association in SATX, and still involve with veterans as life member of the Association of the US Army and Military Officers Association of America.

My goal here is to learn and expand my networks.  Happy Investing!

Mahalo,

Cliff
