Hello everyone,

Been on the site a couple of times and finally joined. Very nice people and lots of knowledge from the posts I have read. 

Little about me, I'm 33 yrs old, I'm a union carpenter and bought my home my family and I live in about 5 years ago. I've always wanted to invest in real estate and be involved. I earned my real estate license a couple years ago but do not practice actively. So I just have it for referalls at this point. It has helped me gain knowledge on the buying/selling side of things of which I hope to put to use soon! I've read a couple books, learn everything I can from the internet and scan real estate websites. I haven't pulled the trigger on my first investment property but hope to within the near future. Was kind of Hoping to find an expierenced flipper or mentor to do the first one with me to get my feet wet. Well see how that works out! Its nice to be on a great site such as bigger pockets!

@Thomas Berridge Welcome always great meeting local NJ investors. This is a great place to get a lot of information and questions answered and network. I would definitely look around at all that Bigger Pocket has to offer. Check out the podcast. Also all the forums, Don't forget to setup your keyword alerts. Also ask lots of questions. The community is great for sharing experiences. Last I would check out some of the local REI groups in the area. There is a large REI based in Cherry Hill that has a sub group in Gloucester County they a lot of education and networking. Also the people share a lot of resources and information.
