My name is Mark and I am from central Massachusetts (Milford). I am going to be an active real estate investor by the end of 2015. I'm told if I say that enough it will happen! :)

I currently work a full time job in Boston and don't find corporate America rewarding any more. My partner and I have renovated two homes while living in them and I find this type of work much more rewarding. I'm hoping my next "job" is as a real estate investor working for myself. I am still doing research but leaning toward flipping or rentals.

I have been listening to the BP pod casts for a few months now on my commute (thanks to Josh and Brandon for making bumper-to-bumper traffic so much more fun!) and this Saturday I'm going to Than Merrill's real estate seminar with a friend. From reading several BP posts about the seminar it sounds like it's an up-sell but I'm hoping to pick up a couple of tips and hopefully some contacts in the area.

I"m looking forward to learning a lot from people here at BP and hoping to know enough soon so I can help others as well.
