Newb from Portland, OR

Stopping by to say hello to everyone, My name is Scott Newbie just signed up today. I currently reside in Portland OR with my wife and kids and I work as a Field Service Engineer in the semiconductor industry. My background comes from the lending side of the fence, both as a processor and an underwriter for home mortgages. This is where I fell in love with real estate in general and have been fascinated ever since. I am getting ready to start investing in real estate and I am hoping to make a better life for my family. I would also like to be able to pass down to my children how I was able to be successful at REI.

Anyway again just wanted to say hi, and I am looking forward to learning from the vast amount of expertise that you all have.
