Updated about 10 years ago,
Hello from Missouri, Young'n lurking for answers.
Hello all, I'm from Hannibal MO. 20 years young, grew up knowing what a honest days work is. I'm not from a family with any money to speak of so I'v always had a dream of having money when I'm an adult.
Real estate has always interested me, and after read "Rich dad, Poor dad." By Robert Kiyosaki I realized that Rental properties is where I want to invest my money.
The only problem is currently there is no money to invest.
I'm getting married Dec. 13th of this year, and one baby on the way (Due June 23rd.) And I only make $12 an hour as a manager at a tire shop. So money is by no means plentiful, with that I am working on building my credit. But it is difficult with no co-signer to help.
I'm interested in buying trailer parks, duplex's and apartment complex's and renting them out. It seems like it would be the best for my situation. Getting started will be my greatest challenge. But once I get started it should be blue sky from there. (I'm hoping.)
Looking forward to all the advice I will receive!
