Hello there!

I love the site here. It's nice to see a web forum where puerile insults and spam aren't EVERYWHERE (could use more cat pictures, though).

I'm 24 and new to this. I work in real estate investments (in bulk REO) and want to start purchasing property with my partner. We have a great agent, and several friends who make great livings in creative real estate. We have a lot of resources available to us and it would be absolutely foolish to not take advantage of what's sitting in our laps.

I'll be posting more and letting people know if we have need for partners on our first projects. Looking forward to what you all have to offer--

I lived in Dallas back in the 80's and bought, rehabbed and sold several single family houses and had a few rentals. Was broke, but mostly used owner financing, which was common in that area at the time and still is to a certain extent. Then my family moverd to the Seattle area for 20 years. I bought several houses, fixed them up and moved in them - "sweat equity" one at a time with my family. always made a good profit. Also I had some rental properties, all bought either assumed, or owner financed. I still own 2 rentals near Seattle, and I now live in Minneapolis (too cold here!)

I am a commercial property manager for a developer, recently started diving into personal real estate investing here. The foreclosure market - subject to and wholesale. Just getting my marketing in place and have yet to make my first deal using those techniques. This site has helped alot and the gurus are great with giving valuable advice. Check out all the forums! Good luck, Mike
