New Member in Tucson, AZ

Hi all. First time lurker, first time poster. Everyone be nice to me :-)

I am a wish-I-were real estate investor rather new to Tucson. I have done a lot of reading about investing and am just now acting on it. My current short term goal is to invest in a small multifamily by summer 2015, likely in an owner-occupied fashion. More immediately, however, I am simply networking and creating my Power Team. I am extremely open to referrals for anything and everything associated with the industry! 

I'm here to learn and, in my own way, contribute to the community. In the short term, that might just mean pithy comments and references to movies starring Seth Rogan... I am a triathlon/cycling coach by profession and love any excuse to get and stay outside. I moved here sight unseen and knowing no one; I have a lot to experience!

What else is there? I want to take the long view of things, do my research and invest conservatively. Time is on my side :-)

Welcome!  I too am investing in a multifamily as an owner occupier and plan to close here in the next few weeks.  I think that you should my favorite article of Brandon Turner's:
