This is actually my second introductory post but I feel I could have done a better job.

Particularly new to investing I am looking to network here on Biggerpockets to hopefully find a mentor or colleagues to bounce deals and scenarios off of. 

Finding deals deals and leads would be great but I guess my main reason for being here is to gain knowledge and guidance from people actually involved in real estate. 

Also, does any know how I can mention somebody in in a reply on this site? I can't seem to figure it out without quoting them.
