New Wholesaler in Cape Coral, FL
Hi Everyone! My name is Nancy Eardley. I've been a "Girl Friday" to Presidents and Owners of companies for years, which means I've done it all at one time or another. Along the way, I've gotten my real estate license up in IL and an insurance agent's license down here in FL. My husband and I now own our own business, which allows me to work out of my home...which means I can now focus on what I'm interested in. And I'm interested in Wholesaling real estate. I'm looking to network with and learn from people who are willing to talk to a "newbie" about getting over my fear of "actually doing it". I'm reading and viewing everything I can get my hands on so I understand what I want to undertake, but I feel "frozen" in time. Hopefully, one or some of you know what I'm experiencing and can help me in overcoming it. Thanks!

Hi Nancy.
I can totally relate. I am also a newbie investor/wholesaler working in Cape Coral and Fort Myers. I have purchased a duplex and recently flipped my first property.
The biggest thing that I had to overcome was the fear of simply picking up the phone and calling people. As Lydia said, it's easy to fall pray to paralysis by analysis.
I often see people say just take action, but I didn't really know what action to take and where to start. The biggest part of getting started for me was learning how to fill my pipeline with leads so that I could find people willing to sell their houses at a discount. I kind of made a mistake and stopped all of my seller marketing in order to find a buyer for the first house that I put under contract. I had to start priming the pump all over again.
In any event, drop me a line directly if you want to connect further and I would be more than happy to share what I have learned in the past several months about the market in SWFL.
