New Investor from Indianapolis, Indiana
My name is Beau Benjamin and I am a brand new real estate investor. I am getting married in less than a month and then will be moving into a house given to us by my fiance's dad.
I've always wanted to rent properties and I bought the house I am currently living in with that in mind ~5 years ago. Now when I move into our new house, I will want to start renting mine. I'm not really sure what all that entails, but I'm here to learn.
My fiance also has a condo that she owns that I want to rent out as well.
I am really excited to start this stage of our lives and want to try to get all of the advice possible to reduce my mistakes, etc.
Thank you for any tips you might provide in advance.
Beau

Welcome to the community Beau!
I'm still a newbie here, but a little tip for you is that Bp has a tenant screening guide that you'd want to go through. Other than that, join in the conversation. The community have been a great help to me.
Congratulations on the upcoming wedding and good luck investing!
