New investor looking for community in San Francisco or Bay Area

Hello BP community, my name is Anja. I live and work in San Francisco. I am new to real estate investing, but very excited to start my journey as a real estate investor. I am looking for a community in San Francisco or the Bay Area that I can connect with and learn from. Ideally, I am looking for a mentor who I could shadow through the process of finding, purchasing and managing multi-family rental properties or foreclosures. I am happy to give back in return my time and professional skills as needed and helpful.

Great folks on BP, and even more awesome folks locally (no offense BP!) I don't have the time to be a mentor for someone new right now, but I do give out my 2 cents when I'm out at meetups, or meeting with good folks one on one here and there. I have a meetup each month in Oakland (see signature),and  @Johnson H. scheduled one down in San Jose for 7/18, with lots of great folks I know who will be there. Come say hi to the community!
