New Real Estate Investor From Upstate South Carolina

Hey everyone,

I decided I would formally introduce myself to the site. I am currently a junior at Clemson University, studying to be a CPA. My goal is to work for a Big 4 firm and eventually work my way into a finance department at a Fortune 500 company.

My introduction to real estate investing was through "Rich Dad Poor Dad", as I know is the case with many others on here. My friend (Ryan Koehler) introduced me to the podcasts shortly after that, and I was hooked. The Ultimate Beginners Guide and other related blog posts have been instrumental in teaching me the basics of real estate investing.

The two areas I am currently trying to focus on are tax lien investing and buy and hold multifamily properties. My goal is to have 10 single family or multifamily homes by the age of 35. I obviously don't have an abundance of capital right now due to being a college student. That is why I am mainly focusing on tax liens for now, wanting to eventually work my way up to multifamilies when money allows.

Feel free to contact me with anything!
