Newbie in Dallas, Texas area
My name is Jason Harmony. I grew up in Minnesota, but have been in TX over 20 years. I Graduated from Texas State University and also recently completed my MBA with a finance concentration at Southern Methodist University in December 2013. I was planning to work for someone in commercial real estate, but decided I want to run things and build my own wealth and be my own boss.
I have a background in residential mortgage lending and also the real estate classes I took during my MBA. I have been educating myself more and more about REI for about the last six months.
I want to begin wholesaling, fix & flip and eventually own several prpoerties and lease them- depending on the property.
I'm looking to possibly pool funds with some other newbies or veterans on the first few properties and learn from each other while building up some extra capital and then begin looking for SF rentals for cash flow and/or multi-family opportunities. A willing mentor would be nice as well.
I look forward to getting started and working with fellow DFW investors to make some deals happen!
