New RE investors & networking - Advice when getting star

BP has a policy of limited access to the PM facility until you have posted 10 times. How can you get there quickly?

RE investing is all about finding deals in the market that others do not see. Most people are advised to find a local REIA meeting. The point being to actively network with other investors in your area. To beat the bushes to find deal

As BP is a REIA without a location here is some advice for networking here. It comes from a reply I wrote to a new member. I have edited out their name and changed the message slightly to make it more appropriate here.

It is always a good idea to say hello to people and build your network of contacts. Why you might ask?

Some will be buying. Some will be selling. Some will need a partner. Some will need advice. Some can offer you advice or access to suppliers.

The best way to network is to say hello and then listen to what they have to say. Two ears, one mouth. Start the conversation and then listen.

A call to action.

Go hunt down your 1st 10 posts. Do this by focusing on the new member forum. The one where this message is posted.

Say hello to 10 people after introducing yourself. You will immediately exceed the 10 post requirement. You will also start to build your network of RE investors.

:shoot: Good Hunting.
