Hello BiggerPockets, I'm Debo (pronounced like 'Day-bo', NOT like 'dee-bo' from Friday! lol) I'm originally from the Philly area, but now I am in Chicago (in Oak Park) and am looking forward to starting my Real Estate Investing career here. Before this, I sold Healthcare plans as an insurance agent and Instrumentals for artists & companies for songwriting and commercial music. Now I'm ready to apply these skills in Wholesailing Marketing and closing. So far I have began by gathering potential leads by driving around for distressed properties and I have also visited downtown for probate records as well. I have also browsed through some listsource queries as well. For goals: I would love to complete the rest of the Wholesailing puzzle by learning how to do comps & estimate repair costs and then learning the proper steps to actually complete the transactions with sellers and buyers. I am completely open to sharing payouts in exchange for the guidance. Overall, I must say I'm super thankful for this site! The threads and podcasts have been awesome brain-food. More importantly, from what I've seen so far, this community appears to be pretty helpful, knowledgable and easy to understand. I look forward to talking to you all!
